KSBC CAVEMAN: Well folks I’ve been putting off making this post for a little over a week now. KSBC CAVEMAN would have been 14 years old next month! I’ve got great great Grand babies out of this guy. CaveMan traveled more miles in his life than a lot of people travel during theirs! He won his 6th National Grand Champion banner at age 9. He had several trips to Missouri and Ohio for shows. The “Old Man” knew how to travel and it was like clock work, when we would get on the interstate you could feel the truck rock because he was lying down. It kind of got to be a joke. As we would hit the ramp you knew the truck was going to rock before we got up to full speed on the interstate due to him getting comfortable and laying down.

Fortunately CaveMan’s offspring will carry on his legacy. He has a lot of little ones running around all over the country. His Grandson T-Bone was filling CaveMan’s foot prints well until an unfortunate incident took place in March of 2018 when T-Bones show career was ended. Between the 2 guys they had won 10 National Grand Champion Beefalo Bull titles and 5 Reserve Grand Champion Beefalo Bull titles. I’ve been really lucky to have one great Bull like CaveMan but I’ve had 2 and they actually got to overlap each other!

The “Old Man” was used at education farm days often in our county to let elementary school students get to see a beef animal up close! He was an extremely gentle guy that lots of people got to meet over the years and several kids got to pet and set on!

The pictures of Dallas sitting on him was at his last show in Sedalia MO during the 2016 MO State Fair. I had retired him from showing at that point but the bull that I planned to bring that week wasn’t cooperating to well so I pulled “The Legend” out and brought him on out. At that show there were 3 of the best BEEFALO bulls of the 2000’s in the senior bull class at the same time. If those bulls had all been the same age and in their prime we might still be there trying to pick a winner.

Fortunately we have several hundred straws of semen in the tanks on CaveMan so his genetics will be reappearing for years to come! CaveMan buddy you will be missed, but I’m looking forward to your genetics for years to come!
